The General Deburring Methods
Burrs is an inevitable stuff during CNC machining, hard to avoid. Burrs not only affects the appearance of the product, but also affects the product assembly, performance, speeding up the wear between equipments, reducing the service life. Since the development of manufacturing technology, the product quality requirement is more and more strict, deburring becomes more necessary and important.
Deburring by hand
– Traditional way is steel file, sand paper, wheelhead polish. Trimming knife have gradually replaced these traditional methods, easy to use, no technical processing required, cost saving and protect the environment.
Chemical deburring
– Principle of electrochemical reaction, automatically and selectively deburring.
– It can be widely used in pneumatic, hydraulic, engineering machinery, nozzle pump, automotive, engine and other industries different metal materials of the pump body, valve body, connecting rod, plunger and other parts.
– Suitable for internal burrs that are difficult to remove, after heat-treated and finishing parts.
Electrolytic deburring
– Suitable for remove burrs of complex shape part concealed cross holes.
– High production efficiency, only a few seconds to tens of seconds.
– Commonly used for deburring of gear, spline, connecting rod and valve body, etc.
– Disadvantage is that the parts near the burr are also subjected to electrolysis, surface will lose its original luster, even affects dimensional accuracy.
